SPIRIT OF THE WOODS FLUTES
COSMIC DRONE

This wonderful piece of art was designed in combination by Jason Estep and myself. The flute body is Fiddleback Myrtle with Padauk end caps and Wenge laminations. The Blocks are made from Ebony with Padauk bases and are the Triple P design. Up by the mouthpiece there is a Large Star Inlay of Mother-Of-Pearl. Directly in front of the Blocks is an image of the Earth Inlay from Green Malachite and Blue Lapis. Along side of the Padauk Finger Plugs is a Sun Inlay made from Red Coral that raps around the side of the flute to the back and at the foot of the flute is a Moon Inlay from Paua Shell surrounded by 4 smaller stars made from Mother-Of-Pearl. The voice of this flute is full and bright. |
