As
an artist Clay Corbisier has drawn inspiration from his
love of the outdoors, fly-fishing, hiking, and exploring.
Since receiving his art degree in 1989 he has worked
as an animator, graphic designer, illustrator and art
director.
Clay’s true passion has always been in fine art
oil painting. Trained as a classical painter, he has
won “The People’s Choice Award” three
times and has been a featured artist in northwest
galleries.
Native American flutes have become an exciting new
canvas for Clay’s artwork. His approach to
painting the flutes is one in harmony with the architecture
of the instrument. He views the flute as not as just
a surface on which to paint a scene, but rather incorporates
the design of the instrument itself.
Clay lives and works in the northwest with girlfriend/photographer
and flute enthusiast Adrienne DeLiso and their Bernese
Mountain Dog “Finn”.
Clay is honored to be collaborating with flute maker
Ed Hrebec, owner of Spirit of the Woods Flutes. We are
excited by the magic that the union of three beautiful
art forms; wood, paint and sound will bring to these
unique instruments.

I am equally honored to be collaborating with such a
gifted artist as Clay Corbisier.
His work speaks for itself. Clay, like me, is a perfectionist.
We both strive to put out only the highest quality work.
